Windsurfing: Hove Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: Nice waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: Sunny, some clouds Max Speed: Distance Covered:
12 til 2:30pm at Hove. Wind just about cross shore with a hint of on.
Waves were very nice, generally 2-3 foot with the usual double up Hove
specials if you kept your eyes peeled. I launched on 5.5m and was fully
powered, but it soon picked up and the 5.5m was more wrestling than it was
worth. Changed to 4.5m and punched out through the shorebreak again.
Wave after wave down the line, not always long long rides, but usually a
swooping downwind carve and a cut back or two or three, before the shingle
gybe out. Plus the occasional deeper water peak giving a meaty laid out
bottom turn. I would guess max size probably head height. A very solid
session.
